24.—(1) The Medicines (Advertising to Medical and Dental Practitioners)
Regulations 1978(1)are revoked.
(2) Paragraph (2)
of regulation 2 of the Medicines (Advertising of Medicinal Products) (No. 2) Regulations 1975(2)is revoked.
(3) After regulation 1 of the Medicines (Labelling and Advertising to the Public) Regulations 1978(3)there is inserted—
1A. These regulations do not apply to any advertisement or representation relating to a relevant medicinal product as defined by regulation 2(1) of the Medicines (Advertising) Regulations 1994(4).”.
