This Order brings into force the repeal of the Alkali, &c. Works Regulation Act 1906, for the purposes of the application of that Act to activities which fall within a description of process which has been but has ceased to be a prescribed process for the purposes of Part I of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, on 1st December 1994 or, if later, on the date on which that description of process ceases to be so prescribed.
