These Regulations amend the definition of “limiting quality level (LQ5)” in paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Measuring Equipment (Measures of Length) Regulations 1986 (S.I 1986/1682), which was inserted by the Measuring Equipment (Measures of Length) (Amendment) Regulations 1996 (S.I. 1996/2636), by substituting a reference to “5 per cent” for the incorrect reference to “95 per cent” in the Schedule as set out in the 1996 Regulations.
