The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on him by section 6(1)(e) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
1. This Order may be cited as the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Amendment Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.
2. Article 12 of the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Order 1993(2) is hereby revoked.
3. The National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Amendment Order 1997(3) is hereby revoked.

This Order amends the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (Constitution and Administration) Order 1993 which makes provision concerning the constitution and administration and functions of the National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting for England (“the Board”) continued under section 5(1) of the Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors Act 1997.
This Order removes the Board’s duty to make available to the public information about careers in nursing, midwifery and health visiting in England.
