In exercise of the powers conferred by section 128(1), (2) and (6) of the Education Reform Act 1988(1) the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, after consultation with The College of Guidance Studies higher education corporation(2) and the Higher Education Funding Council for England in accordance with subsection (4) of the said section 128 and with the consent of the Canterbury Christ Church University College given in accordance with subsection (2) of that section, hereby makes the following Order:—
1988 c. 40; section 128 as amended by paragraph 34 of Schedule 8 to the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (c. 13).
Established as Kent College for the Careers Service under section 122(1) of the Education Reform Act 1988 by virtue of S.I. 1992/2152.
