The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the proposed changes in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities presently managed by the North Bristol National Health Service Trust(2), and having consulted that Trust and the Avon and Western Wiltshire Mental Health Care National Health Service Trust(3) in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Avon and Western Wiltshire Mental Health Care National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 7th April 2000.
(2) In this Order—
“the first Trust” means the North Bristol National Health Service Trust;
“the second Trust” means the Avon and Western Wiltshire Mental Health Care National Health Service Trust;
“the trust property” means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by, agreed upon by and signed on behalf of the first and second Trusts on 21st January 2000.
2. On 7th April 2000 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust to the second Trust.

This Order transfers to the Avon and Western Wiltshire Mental Health Care National Health Service Trust on 7th April 2000 trust property held by the North Bristol National Health Service Trust. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, Accounts and Trust Allocations Branch, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
1977 c. 49; section 92 has been amended by section 11(5) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19), by paragraph 44 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17) and by paragraph 28 of Schedule 4 to the Health Act 1999 (c. 8).
