The Social Security (Claims and Payments) Amendment Regulations 2001

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 5(1)(p), 189(1), (5) and (6) and 191 of the Social Security Administration Act 1992(1) and section 43(2) of the Child Support Act 1991(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after reference to the Social Security Advisory Committee(3), hereby makes the following Regulations:

1992 c. 5. Section 191 is cited for the meaning assigned to the word “prescribed”.
(2)
1991 c. 48. Section 43 was substituted by section 21 of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 (c. 19).
