Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order designates the district of the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness, excluding the A590 trunk road from the Park Road roundabout to the Melton Brow roundabout, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. This Order also applies, with modifications, various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
