(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order extinguishes, on 31st March 2001, all of the Civil Aviation Authority’s liabilities in respect of the principal of the loans set out in the Schedule to the Order. The sum of those liabilities is £247,696,842.57.
The loans in question were made to that Authority under section 12 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 and were paid out of the National Loans Fund.
