The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 42(1) and (16) of the Administration of Justice Act 1982(1), hereby makes the following Scheme:
1. This Scheme may be cited as the Common Investment (Closure of High Yield Fund) (Amendment) Scheme 2003 and shall come into force on 9th April 2003.
2. In paragraph 2(1) of the Common Investment (Closure of High Yield Fund) Scheme 2003(2), in the definition of “the effective date”, for “5th April 2003” substitute “10th April 2003”.
Signed by authority of the Lord Chancellor
Rosie Winterton
Parliamentary Secretary,
Lord Chancellor’s Department
Dated 5th April 2003
(This note is not part of the Scheme)
The Common Investment (Closure of High Yield Fund) Scheme 2003 (S.I. 2003/778) erroneously defined the “effective date” as being 5th April 2003. This instrument substitutes the correct effective date, 10th April 2003.
