1.—(1) Section 83 of the Value Added Tax Act 1994 is amended as follows.U.K.
(2) In paragraph (zz), for “regulation 16 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2001”, substitute “ regulation 21 of the Money Laundering Regulations 2003 ”.
2.—(1) Paragraph 25 of Schedule 3 (reserved matters) to the Northern Ireland Act 1998 is amended as follows.U.K.
(2) For “1993” substitute “ 2003 ”.
3.—(1) Regulation 12 of the Cross-Border Credit Transfers Regulations 1999 is amended as follows.U.K.
(2) For paragraph (2) substitute—
“(2) In this regulation “enactments relating to money laundering” means section 18 of the Terrorism Act 2000, section 340(11) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 and the Money Laundering Regulations 2003.”.
4.—(1) The Terrorism Act 2000 (Crown Servants and Regulators) Regulations 2001 are amended as follows.U.K.
(2) In regulation 2, for the definition of “relevant financial business” substitute—
““relevant business” has the meaning given by regulation 2(2) of the Money Laundering Regulations 2003.”.
(3) In regulation 3, for “relevant financial business” substitute “ relevant business ”.
5.—(1) The Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001 are amended as follows.U.K.
(2) In regulation 114(3)(b) M1—
(i)for “1993” substitute “ 2003 ”; and
(ii)omit “, the Money Laundering Regulations 2001”.
