The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 77(3), (8) and (9) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992 (1), section 77(3), (8) and (9) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 (2), and section 54(1) of the Tax Credits Act 2002 (3) hereby make the following Regulations:
1992 c. 4. The functions of the Secretary of State under this section will be transferred to the Treasury by section 49(1)(a) of the Tax Credits Act 2002 (c. 21) and S.I. 2003/392 (C.25) with effect from 1st April 2003.
1992 c. 7. The functions of the Department for Social Development under this section will be transferred to the Treasury by section 49(2)(a) of the Tax Credits Act 2002 (c. 21) and S.I. 2003/392 (C.25) with effect from 1st April 2003.
