This is the original version (as it was originally made). This item of legislation is currently only available in its original format.
1. This Order may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation and Repeals) (Jersey) Order 2004, and shall come into force on 1st June 2004.
2. The Shipping (Jersey) Law 2002 adopted by the States of Jersey on 6th December 2001 is hereby confirmed.
3. The repeal by section 314(1) of and Schedule 12 to the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 of the Merchant Shipping (Registration, etc) Act 1993(1) is hereby extended to the Bailiwick of Jersey.
4. The Orders listed in the Schedule to this Order are revoked insofar only as they apply to the Bailiwick of Jersey.
