The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 8, 9 and 24(5) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001(1), having regard to the definition of “prescribed” in section 24(1) of that Act, and having consulted the Security Industry Authority in accordance with section 24(4) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
