Section 20 is substituted by section 10 of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 (c. 19) from a date to be appointed. By virtue of the Child Support Appeals (Jurisdiction of Courts) Order 1993 (S.I. 1993/961) appeals under section 20 relating to issues of parentage are to be made to the court instead of the Child Support Appeals Tribunal. This Order is revoked and replaced by the Child Support Appeals (Jurisdiction of Courts) Order 2002 (S.I. 2002/1915), which also provides that appeals relating to issues of parentage are to be made to the court instead of the Appeals Tribunal. This Order will come into force on the date on which section 10 of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 comes into force.
