The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 148(3) of the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007(1).
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2007.
(2) In this Order “the Act” means the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007.
2. The provisions of Part 6 of the Act, in so far as they apply in relation to England, come into force on 31st December 2007.

This Order is the second commencement order made under the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (“the Act”).
The Order brings Part 6 of the Act (Protection of Cultural Objects on Loan) into force on 31st December 2007. Part 6 provides for the protection from seizure or forfeiture of cultural objects on loan from abroad for temporary public exhibition in the United Kingdom.
