Prevention And Suppression Of Terrorism
The Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2009
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 100(5) of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008():
1. This Order may be cited as the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2009.
2. The following provisions of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 shall come into force on 1st October 2009—
(a)sections 40 to 61 (notification requirements);
(b)Schedule 4 (notification orders);
(c)Schedule 5 (foreign travel restriction orders); and
(d)Schedule 6 (notification requirements: application to service offences).

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This Order brings into force on 1st October 2009 the provisions of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008 listed in article 2.
