The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14(1), 17(3) and (5), 28J(3), 50(1A) and (1C)(b), 51(2)(a), (b) and (f), 54 and 55(1)(c) of, and paragraph 5(a) of Schedule 1 to, the Child Support Act 1991(1) and section 57(2) of the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008(2), makes the following Regulations:
1991 c.48. Section 28J was inserted by section 20 of the Child Support, Pensions and Social Security Act 2000 (c.19) (“the 2000 Act”). Section 50(1A) to (1C) were inserted by section 57 of, and paragraph 1(20) of Schedule 7 to, the Child Maintenance and Other Payments Act 2008 (c.6). Section 51(2) was amended by section 1(2)(a) of, and paragraph 11(19) of Schedule 3 to, the 2000 Act. Section 54 is cited for the definition of “prescribed”. Part 1 of Schedule 1 was substituted by section 1(3) of, and Schedule 1 to, the 2000 Act.
