The Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (1) (“the Act”).

This Order is made with the consent of the further education corporation known as Leeds City College (2). It is made for the purpose of giving effect to a proposal for the dissolution of the further education corporations known as Park Lane College, Leeds(3), Leeds Thomas Danby College(4), and Leeds Technology College(5) (“the corporations”) made by the Learning and Skills Council for England. The Secretary of State has consulted each of the corporations.
