The Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992 (1) (“the Act”).
This Order is made with the consent of the further education corporation known as Leeds City College (2). It is made for the purpose of giving effect to a proposal for the dissolution of the further education corporations known as Park Lane College, Leeds(3), Leeds Thomas Danby College(4), and Leeds Technology College(5) (“the corporations”) made by the Learning and Skills Council for England. The Secretary of State has consulted each of the corporations.

Established by the Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/2097) under the name of Thomas Danby College, Leeds, and was renamed Leeds Thomas Danby College on 13th July 2005.
Established by the Education (Further Education Corporations) Order 1992 (S.I. 1992/2097) under the name of Kitson College, Leeds, and was renamed Leeds Technology College on 22nd February 1993.
