The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 61(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988(1) and by virtue of the Department for Transport (Fees) Order 2009(2).
In accordance with section 195(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 he has consulted with such representative organisations as he thinks fit.
1988 c.52; section 61 was amended by Schedule 8 to the Road Traffic Act 1991 (c.40).
S.I. 2009/711. The relevant provisions in S.I. 2009/711 are article 5 and paragraphs 32, 34 and 35 of Schedule I, together with article 9 and Schedule 2.
