The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(3), 7A(2), 7B(3) and 19(2) of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002(1), makes the following Regulations:
2002 c.36. Section 4(3) was amended by S.I. 2006/2369. Sections 7A and 7B were inserted by the Health Act 2009 (c.21), section 21. The Secretary of State is the “appropriate Minister” in relation to England under section 21(1) of the Tobacco Advertising and Promotion Act 2002 (“the Act”), which was substituted by section 24 of, and paragraphs 2 and 12 of Schedule 4 to, the Health Act 2009.
