The Secretary of State has consulted the council for every principal area the whole or any part of which is comprised in the South Downs National Park as required by paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 7 to the Environment Act 1995 M1.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4A(1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 M2, sections 63(1) and 75(3) to (7) of, and paragraphs 1(2) and (3) and 2(1) and (2) of Schedule 7 to, the Environment Act 1995, the Secretary of State makes the following Order.
