The Postal Services Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2011

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 93(3) of the Postal Services Act 2011(1).

In accordance with section 6(4) of that Act Post Office Limited was designated for the purposes of section 6(1) of that Act by The Post Office Limited (Designation) Order 2011(2):

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Postal Services Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2) Order 2011.

Provision coming into force on 20th December 2011

2.  Section 1 of the Postal Services Act 2011 shall come into force on 20th December 2011.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

Article 2 of this Order brings into force section 1 of the Postal Services Act 2011 on 20th December 2011.
