1. This Order may be cited as the Traffic Management (Sheffield City Council) Permit Scheme Order 2012 and comes into force on 12th June 2012.
2. In this Order—
“the Sheffield City Council Permit Scheme ” means the permit scheme set out in the Schedule to this Order in terms commonly known as the “Yorkshire Common Permit Scheme” which was prepared and submitted to the Secretary of State by Sheffield City Council and has been approved by the Secretary of State; and
“specified streets” has the meaning given by regulation 8 of the Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) Regulations 2007(1).
3. The Sheffield City Council Permit Scheme comes into effect on 12th June 2012.
4. Part 8 of the Traffic Management Permit Scheme (England) Regulations 2007 shall apply to the specified streets within the Sheffield City Council Permit Scheme.
