The Police and Crime Commissioner Elections Order 2012

Coming into force in accordance with article 1(2)

M1This Order is made by the Secretary of State in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 58(1) and (5) and 154(5) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 .

M2The Secretary of State has consulted the Electoral Commission about this Order in accordance with section 7(2)(hc) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 .

In accordance with section 154(2)(b) of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011, a draft of this Order has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
