Application of Part 2 of the Act to persons carrying on or managing a scheme

35. Subject to regulation 39, the provisions of Part 2 of the Act, insofar as they apply to England and are not already applied by the Care Standards Act 2000 (Extension of the Application of Part 2 to Holiday Schemes for Disabled Children) (England) Regulations 2013, apply to registered persons in accordance with the modifications set out in Schedule 7.

Explanatory Memorandum
Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Instrument and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications. They aim to make the Statutory Instrument accessible to readers who are not legally qualified and accompany any Statutory Instrument or Draft Statutory Instrument laid before Parliament from June 2004 onwards.
