The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 170(3) and (4) of the Health and Social Care Act 2008(1).

2008 c.14. Section 171(2) of that Act contains a definition of “appropriate authority”, which is relevant to the powers being exercised.
