The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 16(1)(b) and (5) and 17(2)(b) of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992(1) (“the Act”).
In accordance with section 16(1) of the Act, the Secretary of State has obtained the consent of the governing body of the existing educational institution. In accordance with section 16A(1) of the Act, the Secretary of State has published a draft of the proposed order in the prescribed manner(2).
