Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) to (4)
The Lord Chancellor makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1), (2)(b)(1), 2(1), 3(1), (2), (3)(a), (3)(c) and (4), 4(3) and (6) (as read with section 4(1)), 5(2)(c) (as read with section 5(1)), 5(3), 8(1)(a)(2), 12(6) and (7)(3) and 18(5), (6) and (7) of, paragraph 2 of Schedule 2, Schedule 3 and paragraphs 1(2)(ii), 2(2)(ii) and 5(1) of Schedule 7 to, the Public Service Pensions Act 2013(4).
In accordance with section 21 of and paragraph 2(2) to Schedule 2 of that Act, the Lord Chancellor has consulted the Secretary of State and representatives of such persons as appear to him likely to be affected by these Regulations.
In accordance with section 3(5) of that Act, these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury.
The Lord Chancellor has had regard to the matters referred to in section 5(3) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013.
A draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 24(1)(c) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013.
