53. Section 163(1) applies with references to “Her Majesty” being read as “the Crown”.

Section 163 was amended by the Scotland Act 1998 (c.46), section 125 and Schedule 8, paragraph 25(4) and by the Government of Wales Act 2006 (c.32), section 160(1) and Schedule 10, paragraphs 22 and 26.
