(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Iran (Sanctions) (Overseas Territories) Order 2016 (S.I. 2016/371) (“the principal Order”). It is being issued free of charge as it rectifies an omission from the principal Order.
Articles 9(2), 10(2), 12(2) and 14(2) of the principal Order prohibit the use of ships, aircraft and vehicles to carry certain goods to Iran. The amendments in this Order extend those prohibitions to include the carriage of the specified goods from Iran to any destination outside Iran.
