1. This Order may be cited as the European Union (Definition of Treaties) (Economic Partnership Agreements and Trade Agreement) (Eastern and Southern Africa States, Southern African Development Community States, Ghana and Ecuador) Order 2018.
2. In respect of each treaty specified in the Schedule to this Order, this Order comes into force on the date on which the treaty enters into force for the United Kingdom(1). This Order ceases to have effect on the day on which the European Communities Act 1972 is repealed by section 1 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018(2).
3. The treaties specified in the Schedule to this Order are to be regarded as EU Treaties as defined in section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(3).
