Amendment of Schedule 1

10.  In Schedule 1, after paragraph 3 insert—

“4.   The proprietor of a relevant academy, where—

“proprietor” has the meaning given by section 579(1) of the Education Act 1996(1);

“relevant academy” means any of—

(a)

an Academy school within the meaning of section 1A of the Academies Act 2010(2);

(b)

a 16 to 19 Academy within the meaning of section 1B of that Act(3); and

(c)

an alternative provision Academy within the meaning of section 1C of that Act(4).”.
