1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the European Union (Future Relationship) Act 2020 (References to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement) Regulations 2021.
(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(3) The amendments made by these Regulations—
(a)do not apply in relation to times before the coming into force of these Regulations (and, accordingly, section 37(4) and (5) of the Act continue to apply in relation to such times);
(b)have the same extent as the enactments to which those amendments relate.
(4) In these Regulations, “the Act” means the European Union (Future Relationship) Act 2020.
2. In the provisions of the Act specified in column (1) of the table in the Schedule, the references to the Trade and Cooperation Agreement specified in column (2) are substituted with the references specified in column (3).
3.—(1) In regulation 2(1) of the Passenger Name Record Data and Miscellaneous Amendments Regulations 2018(1) (interpretation), in the definition of “terrorist offences”, for “Annex LAW-7” substitute “Annex 45”.
(2) In the Accreditation of Forensic Service Providers Regulations 2018(2)—
(a)in regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definitions of “dactyloscopic data”, “DNA-profile” and “laboratory activity”, for “vehicle registration data etc)” substitute “vehicle registration data)”;
(b)in regulation 4(2)(b) (requirement of accreditation), for “Article LAW.PRUM.16” substitute “Article 538”.
