Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1(2) and (3)

The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41(1)(a) and (b) and (3) of the British Nationality Act 1981(1) and sections 68(1), (7) and (8), 69(2) and 74(8)(a) and (b) of the Immigration Act 2014(2).

So far as these Regulations are made in exercise of powers conferred by the Immigration Act 2014, they are made further to provision in the Immigration and Nationality (Fees) Order 2016(3) and with the consent of the Treasury(4).
