9. In regulation 7 of the Social Security and Child Support (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999 (date from which a decision superseded under section 10 takes effect)(1)—
(a)in paragraph (2)(bc), after “carer’s allowance”, in both places it occurs, insert “or carer support payment”;
(b)after paragraph (2) insert—
“(2B) For the purposes of paragraph (2) “carer support payment” means carer’s assistance given in accordance with the Carer’s Assistance (Carer Support Payment) (Scotland) Regulations 2023.”.
