The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6E(1), (1A), (1B) and (2) and section 272(7) and (8) of the National Health Service Act 2006(1).
2006 c. 41. Section 6E was inserted by section 20(1) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c. 7); and amended by section 78(1) and (2) of the Health and Care Act 2022 (c. 31), and by paragraph 1(1) and (2) of Schedule 1 and paragraphs 86 and 89(1), (2) and (3) of Schedule 4 to that Act. Subsections (1A) and (1B) of section 6E were inserted by section 78(2)(b) of the Health and Care Act 2022.
