Eithriadau ar gyfer ymchwil
4.—(1) Nid yw'r darpariaethau yn Atodlenni 2 i 6 yn gymwys o ran anifeiliaid a gedwir at ddibenion ymchwil mewn safleoedd sydd wedi'u cymeradwyo at y pwrpas hwnnw o dan y rheoliad hwn gan y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol.
(2) Os bydd buwch, dafad neu afr a gedwir mewn safle ymchwil sydd wedi'i gymeradwyo neu os bydd ei epil yn marw neu'n cael ei ladd, rhaid i'r meddiannydd ei waredu fel sgil-gynnyrch anifeiliaid Categori 1 yn unol â Rheoliad (EC) Rhif 1774/2002 o Senedd Ewrop a'r Cyngor sy'n gosod rheolau iechyd am sgil-gynhyrchion anifeiliaid nad ydynt wedi eu bwriadu i'w bwyta gan bobl(1), ac mae peidio â gwneud hyn yn drosedd.
