Provisions coming into force on the commencement date
2. The following provisions of the 2004 Act come into force on the commencement date—
(a)in so far as they are not already in force(), sections 1, 3, 5 to 8, 10 to 52, 54, 55, 58 to 78, 82 to 147, 229 to 232, 235, 236, 238 to 243, Schedules 1 to 7 and Schedule 13;
(b)section 265(1) in so far as it relates to paragraphs 2 to 6, 9 to 36 and 38 to 44 of Schedule 15 (minor and consequential amendments);
(c)section 266 in so far as it relates to the repeals in—
(i)the Friendly and Industrial and Provident Societies Act 1968();
(ii)the Land Compensation Act 1973();
(iii)the Civil Aviation Act 1982();
(iv)the Mobile Homes Act 1983();
(v)the 1985 Act;
(vi)the Housing Associations Act 1985();
(vii)the Housing (Consequential Provisions) Act 1985();
(viii)the Airports Act 1986();
(ix)the Housing Act 1988();
(x)the Electricity Act 1989());
(xi)the Local Government and Housing Act 1989());
(xii)the Housing Act 1996());
(xiii)the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996()); and
(xiv)the Transport Act 2000()).
