Enwi, cychwyn a chymhwyso

1.—(1) Enw'r Gorchymyn hwn yw Gorchymyn Dynodi Ysgolion Sydd â Chymeriad Crefyddol (Cymru) 2007.

(2) Daw'r Gorchymyn hwn i rym ar 1 Mai 2007.

(3) Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn gymwys o ran Cymru.

Dirymu

2.  Mae'r Gorchymyn hwn yn dirymu ac yn cymryd lle Gorchymyn Dynodi Ysgolion Sydd â Chymeriad Crefyddol (Cymru) 1999(1), a Gorchymyn Dynodi Ysgolion Sydd â Chymeriad Crefyddol a Diwygiadau (Cymru) 2004 (2).

Dehongli

3.  Yn y Gorchymyn hwn ystyr “y grefydd neu'r enwad crefyddol perthnasol” (“the relevant religion or religious denomination”) yw'r grefydd neu'r enwad crefyddol y mae'n ofynnol, neu y gall fod yn ofynnol, darparu addysg grefyddol mewn ysgol yn unol â'i daliadau neu â'i ddaliadau yn unol ag Atodlen 19 i Ddeddf Safonau a Fframwaith Ysgolion 1998(3).

Dynodi'r Ysgolion

4.—(1) Dynodir yr ysgolion a restrir yn Yr Atodlen i'r Gorchymyn hwn yn ysgolion sydd â chymeriad crefyddol.

(2) Y grefydd neu'r enwad crefyddol perthnasol mewn perthynas ag ysgol a restrir yn yr Atodlen i'r Gorchymyn hwn yw—

(a)Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru, yn achos ysgol a restrir yn Rhan I o'r Atodlen;

(b)Yr Eglwys Gatholig Rufeinig, yn achos ysgol a restrir yn Rhan II o'r Atodlen; ac

(c)Ysgol Gatholig Rufeinig ac Anglicanaidd, yn achos ysgol a restrir yn Rhan III o'r Atodlen.

Llofnodwyd ar ran y Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru o dan adran 66(1) o Ddeddf Llywodraeth Cymru 1998(4).
