36.—(1) Caiff y Comisiynwyr ei gwneud yn ofynnol bod person sy'n atebol am ffi, neu ar fin bod yn atebol am ffi, yn adneuo gyda'r Comisiynwyr neu'n gwarantu pa bynnag swm o arian sydd, ym marn y Comisiynwyr, yn rhesymol o ystyried swm, neu swm tebygol, y ffi.
(2) Os yw person o'r fath yn methu ag adneuo neu warantu'r swm o arian sy'n ofynnol gan y Comisiynwyr, caiff y Comisiynwyr gadw'r llong neu'r nwyddau a ysgogodd y ffi, neu a fydd yn ysgogi'r ffi, yn gaeth yn yr harbwr hyd nes cydymffurfir â'r gofyniad neu hyd nes telir y ffi.
