9.—(1) Rhaid i'r person cyfrifol gynnig cyfle rhesymol i riant disgybl, y cynhaliwyd asesiad mewn perthynas ag ef yn y lleoliad cyfnod sylfaen, drafod canlyniadau'r asesiad gydag addysgwr yn y lleoliad cyfnod sylfaen.
(2) Rhaid gwneud y cynnig cyn diwedd y tymor ysgol y cynhaliwyd yr asesiad cyfnod sylfaen ynddo, a rhaid i'r person cyfrifol sicrhau bod unrhyw drafodaeth a gynhelir o ganlyniad yn digwydd yn ystod y tymor hwnnw neu cyn gynted ag y bo'n rhesymol ymarferol ar ôl diwedd y tymor hwnnw.
