157. In section 82 of the Companies Act 1989 M1 (request for assistance by overseas regulatory authority), in subsection (2)(a)(i), after “the Companies Act 1985” insert “ or the Companies Act 2006 ”.

Explanatory Memorandum
Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Instrument and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications.
