The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment(1), in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 199(3), 233(1)(2), 252(3)(3), 371(2)(4), 399(2)(5), 402(1), 404(1), 405(4), 407(2), 409(1), 411(1), 413(3), 603A(2)(6), 603D(4)(f) and 681(1) and (2) of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986(7), as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulations 3 and 4 of, and Schedules 1 and 2 to, the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004(8), and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships (Forms) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2004.

(2) In these Regulations, references to an Article or to a numbered Article are to an Article of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 as applied to limited liability partnerships by regulations 3 and 4 of, and Schedules 1 and 2 to, the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004.

Prescribed forms

2.  The forms which are listed in the first column of Part I of Schedule 1, and set out in Part II of that Schedule, are forms prescribed for the purposes of the Articles set out in the second column of Part I of that Schedule.

Prescribed particulars or information

3.  The particulars or information contained in the forms listed in the first column of Part I of Schedule 2, which are either set out in Part II of Schedule 1 or in Part II of Schedule 2, are the particulars or information prescribed for the purposes of the Articles of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 which are referred to in the second column of Part I of Schedule 2.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These Regulations prescribe forms and particulars for the purposes of Articles 199, 233, 252, 371, 399, 402, 404, 405, 407, 409, 411, 413, 603A and 603D of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 as applied to limited liability partnerships, with appropriate modifications, by the Limited Liability Partnerships Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004, (S.R. 2004 No. 307).

Regulation 2 provides for the forms set out in Part II of Schedule 1 to be the forms prescribed for the purposes of the provisions of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 listed in the second column of Part I of that Schedule.

Regulation 3 provides that the particulars or information contained in the forms listed in the first column of Part I of Schedule 2, which are either set out in Part II of Schedule 1 or in Part II of Schedule 2, are the particulars or information prescribed for the purposes of the provisions of the Companies (Northern Ireland) Order 1986 referred to in the second column of Part I of Schedule 2.
