Whereas the Council of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, in pursuance of paragraph 5(1) of Schedule 2 to the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966(1) (“the Act”), has made the Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Practitioners (Disciplinary Committee) (Procedure and Evidence) Rules 2003 (“the Rules”), as set out in the Schedule to this Order, and whereas, by virtue of section 25(1) of the Act such Rules do not have effect unless approved by the Privy Council: now, therefore, Their Lordships, having taken the Rules into consideration, hereby order as follows:
