43.—(1) The functions of the Secretary of State under section 251 (control of patient information) of the National Health Service Act 2006(1) (“the 2006 Act”), so far as they are exercisable in relation to Wales, are transferred to the Welsh Ministers.
(2) In relation to regulations made by the Welsh Ministers under section 251 of the 2006 Act, section 252 (consultation with the Care Quality Commission) of that Act does not apply.
2006 c. 41; section 251 was amended by section 19 of, and paragraphs 1 and 7 of Schedule 4 to, the Cities and Local Government Devolution Act 2016 (c. 1).
