Opsiynau
8.—(1) Wrth werthuso'r gwahanol opsiynau adfer a ganfyddwyd, caniateir penderfynu ar fesurau adfer sylfaenol nad ydynt yn edfryd yn llawn y dŵr neu'r rhywogaethau a warchodir neu'r cynefin naturiol a ddifrodwyd yn ôl i'w gyflwr neu i'w cyflwr adeg y digwyddiad neu benderfynu ar fesurau adfer sylfaenol sy'n ei edfryd neu'n eu hedfryd yn fwy araf (er enghraifft, pan ellid darparu'r adnoddau neu'r gwasanaethau naturiol cyfwerth yn rhywle arall am gost is).
(2) Dim ond os gwneir iawn am yr adnoddau neu'r gwasanaethau naturiol sy'n cael eu hepgor o ganlyniad i'r penderfyniad drwy gynyddu'r camau cydategol neu'r rhai cydadferol i ddarparu lefel debyg o adnoddau neu wasanaethau naturiol y ceir gwneud y penderfyniad hwn.
(3) Caiff yr awdurdod gorfodi benderfynu ar unrhyw bryd nad oes angen cymryd unrhyw fesurau adfer pellach—
(a)os yw'r mesurau adfer sydd eisoes wedi'u cymryd wedi dileu unrhyw risg sylweddol o effeithio'n andwyol ar iechyd dynol, dŵr neu rywogaethau a warchodir a chynefinoedd naturiol; a
(b)os byddai cost y mesurau adfer y mae eu hangen i edfryd yr hyn a ddifrodwyd yn ôl i'w gyflwr cyn y digwyddiad yn anghymesur o'u cymharu â'r buddion amgylcheddol y gellid eu cael.
