Enwi, cychwyn a dehongli

1.—(1) Enw'r Gorchymyn hwn yw Gorchymyn Ynys Môn (Trefniadau Etholiadol) 2012.

(2) Daw'r Gorchymyn hwn i rym—

(a)at ddibenion trafodion sy'n rhagarweiniol i etholiad cynghorwyr neu sy'n ymwneud ag etholiad o'r fath, drannoeth y diwrnod y gwneir y Gorchymyn;

(b)at bob diben arall, ar ddiwrnod arferol ethol cynghorwyr yn 2013(1).

(3) Yn y Gorchymyn hwn mae i “diwrnod arferol ethol cynghorwyr” yr ystyr a roddir i “ordinary day of election for councillors” gan adran 37 o Ddeddf Cynrychiolaeth y Bobl 1983(2).

Adrannau etholiadol sir Ynys Môn

2.—(1) Mae adrannau etholiadol sir Ynys Môn wedi eu diddymu.

(2) Mae'r sir wedi ei rhannu'n un ar ddeg o adrannau etholiadol a phob un ohonynt yn dwyn enw a restrir yng ngholofn 1 y Tabl yn yr Atodlen ac mae pob un o'r adrannau etholiadol hynny wedi ei ffurfio o'r ardaloedd presennol a bennir mewn perthynas â'r adran etholiadol honno yng ngholofn 2 y Tabl.

(3) Y nifer o gynghorwyr sydd i'w hethol ar gyfer pob adran etholiadol yw'r nifer a bennir mewn perthynas â'r adran etholiadol honno yng ngholofn 3 y Tabl yn yr Atodlen.

Dirymu

3.  Mae Gorchymyn Bwrdeistref Ynys Môn-Isle of Anglesey (Trefniadau Etholiadol) 1992(3) wedi ei ddirymu.
